La La La

Laz'R'Us

Put the phone down. Stop the clock. Snooze the alarm one more time. "La La La" is a love letter to the present moment — the kind of day where small mistakes don't matter, awkward smiles feel like allies, and the only right answer is to keep going until your jaw hurts from laughing.

Take the photo later. Capture it with your eyes first.

Music forged between cultures, across decades.

Born in Korea. Raised across the DMV and New Jersey. Two decades of life between a shelved recording career and a full creative resurrection. Laz'R'Us doesn't make music from a vacuum — he makes it from everything he survived.

The Artist

Laz'R'Us

A sonic bridge between eras and continents.

Laz'R'Us is an American songwriter and producer born in Korea and raised across the DMV and New Jersey. His cross-border identity defines his creative DNA — an eclectic sound shaped by a life lived between cultures.

In his early twenties, he made a defining choice: walking away from a full-ride scholarship to pursue a recording career in Korea. That path didn't lead to a formal debut, but the music never left him. Two decades of life and family followed — and then came the return.

Digging back into his archive, he found the blueprint for a creative resurrection. The moniker Laz'R'Us — a play on the biblical theme of restoration and the nostalgic warmth of 90s/2000s culture — signals exactly what he came back to finish.

Sounds like nothing else. Rooted in everything.

MoTown's harmonic soul. Jamiroquai's electro-funk energy. Michael Jackson's pop precision. Seo Taiji and X-Japan's experimental rock texture. Rhythmically driven, melodically rich.

His debut, Act I, is an eclectic showcase in genre-bending — a statement of range and intent. He's now finalizing Act II, blending the raw hunger of his early writing with the refined maturity of everything that came after.

A dream deferred doesn't disappear. Its resonance only deepens with time.

The Sound

Laz'R'Us doesn't chase trends — he builds from a specific set of principles. Every track is a product of these convictions. Being independent means no label, no committee, no one asking if the bass is "too much." (It's never too much.) Just pure, unfiltered creative freedom — which, it turns out, is the whole point.

Replay value isn't a feature — it's the foundation. Music that gives you something new on every listen.

No Permission Required

Independent. No A&R notes. No synergy meetings. No one asking "can we make it more radio-friendly?" The music exists because one person decided it should — and that's a feature, not a bug.

Yes. To. Tomorrow

A love song built around a single, three-word vow: yesterday, today, tomorrow. "Yes. To. Tomorrow" traces the moment two strangers realize their separate paths were quietly converging all along — past wounds folded into present light, and a future written by two hands instead of one.

An anthem for choosing tomorrow, again and again, with someone who chose you back.
